Hamilton’s)/ KOMATA.—Farms of P. R. Hubbard, D. McKee, S. McKee, E. Shaw, and G. Buchanan’s 7. HIKUTAIA —P. ’ Corbett’s, I. Robinson’s, and A. H. Robinson’s farms. All other properties hitherto displaying Sanctuary Notices are declared open, subject to the permission of the owners being first obtained. The Society requests the property owners concerned to kindly grant shooting privileges to members of the Society witbj Licenses. NOTICE OF INTENTION TO STRIKE GENERAL AND SPECIAL RATES IN THE BOROUGH OF PAEROA,. NOTICE is hereby given that the Paeroa Borough Council will a$ a Special, Meeting to be held in the Borough Council Chambers, Paeroa, on the 12th day of May, 1926, at 7.30 p.m, make and levy the following rates for the period commencing on the -Ist day of April, 1926, and ending on the 31st day of March, 1927. Under:— Sections 77-79, 88, and 94 of “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1920.” Sections 48 and 50 of “The Rating Act, 1908,” and Section 41 of “The Hospitals and Charitable Institutions Act, 1909’” namely: A General Rate of 2|d in the £. A Separate Lighting Rate of Jd in the £. A Separate Hospital Rate of |d in the £. ; To collect a Special Rate of 2£d in the £, for providing Interest and Sinking Fund on the £33,000 borrowed for Sewerage Works, such being part of the Special Rate of'4id in the £ struck on the 20th day of September, 1921. To collect a Special Rate of id in the £ for providing Interest and .Sinking Fund oh the £5OOO borrowed for Street Improvement Works, such being part of the Special Rate of 1-Jd in the £ struck on the 20th day bf September;, J. 921. All the above Rates are on the unimproved value on the Valuation Roll of all rateable property in the Borough of Paeroa. ESTIMATE SHOWING THE GENERAL RATE REQUIRED FOR THE BOROUGH OF PAEROA FOR THE PERIOD IST - APRIL, 1926, TO 31ST MARCH, 1927. The following Estimate, having been approved by the Paeroa Borough Council, is published for general information :— Proposed expenditure during the above period, £5115 10s 4d. Credit Balance from previdfes year, £772 9s lid. Estimated Receipts (rents, licenses, outstanding rates, etc ), £2342 10s. Balance, £2OOO 10s sd, proposed to be met by a General Rate of 2§d on £167,000, being the total unimproved rating value of the property on the Valuation Roll for the Borough of Paeroa. The said General Rate will be made after one week from the publication of this estimate. Dated at Paeroa this twentyeighth day of April, 1926. Wm. C. ALEXANDER, Town Clerk.
