SETTLEMENT OF NEW MINISTER.
REV. J. LOUDEN ACCEPTS CALL.
The vacancy in the charge of the Parish of Paeroa.. and its, outstations is 'to be filled by the Ray; John Louden, of Presbyterian Church. The interim-moderator, the Rev. J. A. Ryburn, has advised .the session of St. Andrew’s Church of Mr Louden’s acceptance, off! the call, and the induction is: being, arranged for Thursday, 29th inst. The new minister is a man with a wide experience of life. Although always of a scholarly disposition, h® spent some years of his early manhood in the wholesale butter trade, ,zmd visited the Old Country in this connection. Later he engaged in the Home Mission work of the Church on the West Coast, of the. South lisiand, and was inducted about., seven years ago into his present charge. His activity in social work in the City of Auckland is widely known and appreciated. O*f a pleasing . manner of speech, and of a practical turn of mind, Mr Louden should be warmly welcomed to the town of Paeroa and the district. ■ i
