RACECOURSE TRESPASS.

POLICE COURT ACTION.

HEAVY FINES IMPOSED.

At the Police Court, Paeroa, this morning, before Mr J. H. Salmon, S.M., Francis Ja ; mes Hodge®; labourer, Otorohanga, was, charged yvith, being a person excluded under the Act, trespassing on the Paeroa Racecourse during the progress of a race meeting on March 13 last.

A similar charge was. preeJTred against ■ William Lambert Rudd, mirier, Waihi, and both were convicted and fined £lO and costs. Robert Rutherglen Law, carrier, Thames, and Daniel Roy Fisher, of Thames, were also convicted of the same offence and fined £5 and costs.
