THE MARKET AT HOME.
APPRECIATION OF USERS.
A supplier to the local factory of the N.Z. Dairy Company. Mr T. Vowles, of Netherton, has forwarded the following extract of a letter which he received fiom relatives in Somersetshire, England, concerning Anchor butter, which he had pranged to have sent* to them for Christmas :—
“I must say it was. very nice butter, and w:e much enjoyed • it. As a matter of fact I always buy New Zea-, land butter. I get it from Shirley’s, ’ol’ Brsitol. They do not keep Anchor brand, but I showed them the letter I received from the London office of your company, the N.Z. Co-op. Dairy Co., Ltd., and asked them if they would stock the An'chor brand. Their traveller seemed to think it would appeal, to them being, packed in cartons. It certainly is a much cleaner way. Nathans ha,ve also taken up the Anchor brand, and have had it very much to the fore since January, J 926.”
: A 1 further letter Mr Vowles 'received was from relatives) nea,r the city of Bath, in England. Ah extract in this case reads as 'follows , “We have used New Zealand butter for several years now', for which we pay 2s 2d per lb, but it is not. nearly as rich as that you have sent us. n’a.mely, the Anchor brand. I told our grb'cer about it and advised hiip to get some.. It can also be procured from the City Supply Stores) in Bristol.”
