STRATFORD, February 27

A man named JJoyd was attacked by bull at his home in Warwick Road last night. He h,ad just returned from New Plymouth and found the bull in his garden. He proceeded to drive it out, when the animal turned on him ' and knocked him down., Neighbours saw Mr Boyd’s plight, and df-ove the bull off. Mrtßoyd was bruis’ed, but escaped serious injury. But •for the timely intervention of neighbours, however, he would probably have been killed.
