PAEROA DOMAIN.
LOAN MONEY EXPENDED. WORK NEARING COMPLETION. From a report' prepared by, the Mayor (Mr W. Marshall) on domain matters, and presented to .the special meeting of the Borough Council Last evening, it was stated that the domain paths had- received a second tarring and sanding at a cost of approximately £42.
A rougii sketch and approximate estimate for the erection of the.men’s conveniences and a shed for the domain superintendent’s tools/ to be built near- the dividing, fence and close to the hedge on the Willoughby Street 7 boundary ! -were supplied. The estimated cost.of .the buildings was £lOO, which would leave a balance of £7. That amount would be sufficient to meet outstanding accounts and fix a pipe for the railing to .the fence. Ik would then be necessary to find a few pounds to paint the railing and posts. The report was adopted on the motion of Cr. Edwards, and it wap. resolved to call .tenders for. the erection of the two buildings.
