EXAMINATION RESULTS.
PAEROA PUPILBT SUCCESS.
TWO SENIOR SCHOLARSHIPS.
The success gained by pupils pf the Paeroa District High School at the Education Department and N.Z. University examinations, held at Paeroa towards the close of last year has now been published, and it is considered as highly satisfactory. For the first time in the history of the school two pupils passed the Senior National Scholarship. Considerable credit is due to the headmaster, Mr G. H. Taylor, and to Miss H. Taylor and Mr E. G. Preston, of the secondary department, and to them, as well as to the successful candidates, hearty congratulations are extended. The successes gained by the school are all the more creditable when it is remembered .that during 1925 the .schools did l not open until the month of April owing to the infantile paralysis which prevailed in New Zealand. The following are the complete results of the various, examinations Senior National Scholarship: Max Litherland and Errol Taylor. Junior Free Place: Jean Farrelly, Jessie Southby, Fred. Dare, Stanley Morgan, and William Parry.
Public Service Entrance: Olive Dobson, Marjorie Ellis, Annie Southby, Fred Dare, Arthur Flatt, Hugh Keahey.
Matriculation: Completed, Max Litherland and Errol Taylor; partial pass, Gwladys Gwilliam, Lena liams, Duncan Fleming..,
