MOTOR CYCLIST INJURED
FOUND UNCONSCIOUS.
VICTIM REMOVED TO HOSPITAL.
Mr W. G. Pratt, a draughtsman employed by the Lands Department ’at Kerepeehi, was discovered lying unconscious beside his on the roadside near Pokeno by two Hainilton x motor-cyclists on Saturday afternoon. Apparently his machine got out of hand while descending the hill near the church, a,nd he had evidently fallen heavily, for there were bad wounds "on his forehead and hands.
One of the cyclists hurried to Tuakau for a doctor, who on arrival had the patient removed to an hospital in a passing motor-car. It was thought that Pra,tt had , concussion of the brain.
