Mr E S. Dyson, district Public Works Department engineer at Taur,anga, is on. a visit to Paeroa.
Mr C. H. Halliday, chief clerk, Public Works Department, Taumarunui, is at present visiting' Paeroa).
Lieut. V. J. Innes, N.Z.S.C,, adjutant Hauraki Regiment, returned to Paeroa on Monday and left yesterday to attend the annual refresher course at Okoroire.
Brevet Lieut-Colonel C. B- Andrews, N.Z.S.C, Paeroa, officer commanding Regimental District No. 2, is] at present attending the annual; refresher course for officers of the N.2J- Staff Corps at Okoroire. '
The friends of Mr W. G, Wolilmann will be pleased ’to hear of his promotion to the rank of police superintendent, Auckland. For the past four years Mr Wohlmann has been stationed at Hamilton with the rank of inspector.
