SATURDAY’S MATCHES. RESULTS OF THE PLAY. . The Hauraki Plains Tennis Association’s inter-club competitions were continued on Saturday last in good weather. The two Turua team-, secured wins from the Kopuarahi teams and wins were secured by the Ngatea and Mangawhero teams. Details of the scores are as follows .the names of the viisiting players being mentioned first: — TURUA V. KOPUARAHI. “A” Grade. Men’s Doubles.—-Robinson and McMillan beat Candy and Hegh, 9—3 ; Elvin and Scott lost to McMillan and Campbell, B—9 ; Bell and Deveieaux lost to McKay and Whelan, I—9.’ Ladies’ Doubles—Mrs Ol.otwortny and Mrs Scott lost to Misses Miller, 7—l; Mrs Robinson and Miss Clotworthy lost to Mrs Law and Miss Candy, 7—2.

Men’s, Singles.—Robinson beat Candy, 9—6 ; D. G. McMillan beat A. Hegh, 9—l ;G. Elvin beat B. McMillan, 9—3 . C. Scott beat E. Campbell. 9—3. Ladies’ Singles.—Mrs Clo wortny beat Miss M. Miller, 7—5 ; Mrs S •cot beat Miss D. Miller, 7—5. Combined Doubles.—Mrs Robinson and Bell i-cat Mrs Law and McMillan, 7;> ; Miss Clotworthy and Devereaux beat Miss Candy and Campbell, 7—5.
