BRENAN SHIELD COMPETITION. SATURDAY’S RESULTS. Ideal weather prevailed locally on Saturday afternoon, and despite eoqiiter-attractions there was a good of members on .the green, which was in tip-top playing condition.
The Brenan Memorial. Shield competition was advanced a further stage, and the position of the leading teams is becoming very interesting, On Saturday W. Purdie’s rink suffered its first defe,at, at the hands of G. P. de Castro's? team. Following are the results of the play:—
