PUBLIC SWIMMING BATHS.
(To the Editor.! Sir, —Over a fortnight ago there, appeared ini your columns a letter urging .the people of Paeroa to interest themselves in the building of swimming baths. It seems such a pity that the l question has not been taken up by more of our citizens.* The few days of very hot weather we have had lately make one wish more than ever that there were some place in the town where one could have a nice cool bathe, and where the school children might gather during their long holidays. During .the winter there is plenty of sport in which young people may take part—such as football, basketball, and hockey. But when the summer comes the need of swimming baths becomes apparent: Now then, Paeroa citizens, wake up ! PSYCHE.
