BABY SHOW.
CLASSES WELL PATRONISED.
LIST OF PRIZE-WINNERS.
The baby show conducted in connection with the Hauraki A. and P. show is increasing in popularity, and proved a great attraction for the womenfolk at tlie show on Friday! This year the exhibition was held on the croquet lawn, which proved an ideal place. Away from the bustle and noise of the show-ring and grounds proper, many mothers found aV haven of rest and peace on .the seats provided inside the picturesque ground?. The babies, too, seemed to appreciate the quietness,. There were babies of all sizes and ages, and all bonnie and healthy; The judge, Matron A. M). Ansenne, of the Thames Hospital, and her assistant, Sister Coad, had a difficult, task in making their deicsions, and in each class there was a very small margin separating the winners. The awards were as follows : —
Under 6 months., Mrs J. Meade, Paeroa, baby Peggy, 1; Mrs A. Hamilton, baby Edna, 2 ; Mrs McQuillan, Paeroa, baby Teddy, 3. Six to 12 months: Mrs L. Nevin, baby Errol, 1 ; Mrs G. S.
