THE NEW FORD.
BEAUTY OF DESIGN. THE D. McL. WALLACE EXHIBIT. The facetious remarks so often used in connection with the Ford product will no longer hold, for the latest model cars, are changed completely, and no longer will, the Ford be so easy to single.out. In presenting the new production Messrs D. McL. Wallace, Ltd., of Te Aroha and Thame®, do so with pride, for a new departure from previous standards is inrmediately apparent. The body is much longer and lower and more roomy, and is, now an automobile that anyone would be proud to own. The graceful stream-lines of its low all-steel body impel instant admiration, while other important refinements add new utility to this wonderful proposition. The main point, which is the cause of much comment, is that the price remains the same. This new model comers to the purchaser fully equipped for the road. There are no extnas to buy, and the equipment includes an electric starter, five cord tyres, larger steering wheel, wind-shield wiper, .rear vision mirror, and dash lamp. , The coachwork is finished in a charming shade of nutria fawn, with nickel-plated radiator, and it is to be expected that the new production will win enthusiastic approval wherever .it is shown. A few lines explaining the new improvements will no' doubt be. interestring to present Ford car owners, and also- .to prospective purchasers, and they are as, follows: The. body is more streamlined and all steel constructed, 3% inches longer, 5 inches wider, and 4% inches lower from, top to road; side curtains on upright, opening with the doors ; thei dons' are wider, and open forward. The seats are re-designed for increased comfort, being 2% inches lower from top seat to floor, or 4 inches nearer to the ground. The front seat is 3 inches wider and the rear seat 5 inches wider, and' there is an additional 3% inches between the front and the rear seats, giving more, room for passengers and increased floor space. Uompatrments are provided under botn seats for curtains; and .tools. The hood is. of an improved design, oneman style. The petrol, tank is situated on the front under a cowl, dash, and the wind-shield is of an improve.! design.
It will therefore be seen that the “New Beauty Ford” is entirely changed, and the 192f6 model is worthy of the closest scrutiny by those considering 'the purchase of a serviceable car. Messrs D. McL.. Wallace, Ltd., will have models at the Paeroa Showground to-morrow and Friday, when demonstrations and full particulars will be available.
