In Melbourne recently Mr J. B. Merrett, the New Zealand egg expert, stated that, having successfully established New Zealand eggs in the London market, he would facilitate the export from Victoria during the c.oming season. Large orders had been offered him, but New Zealand interests were unable to supply the quantity. Victorian poultrymen were being offered of the orders,. It was intended to ship 300,000 dozen eggs from Melbourne.
