PLAINS CRICKET.
MEETING OF ASSOCUTION. The Hauraki Plains Cricket Association met at Pipiroa on Monday evening, Mr J. C. Miller presiding over Messrs J. Galvin, McKay, and J. Donaghy. Mr F. L. Wallis, secretary, was also present. The secretary reported that the Kaihere Club would again affiliate and be in the inter-club competition. There, would therefore be four teams in the competition. Mr'Donaghy suggested that four rounds be played. This was discussed and adopted. The draw resulted as follows November 21pt.—Waitakaruru plays Kopuarahi at Kopuarahi; Kaihere plays . Pipiroa at Pipiroa. November 28th. —Kaihere plays Kopuarahi at Kopuarahi; Pipiroa plays Waitakaruru at Waitakaruru. December Sth.—Waitakaruru plays Kaihere at Kaihere; Kopuarahi plays- Pipiroa at Pipiroa. The second round will, be reversed as far as the travelling is concerned. In the third round the teams to, travel will be the same as in the first round, and in the final .round the same as the second round. Matches will commence at 11 a.m. and stumps will be drawn at 3 p.m., except that an extension may be made tp 3.30 p.m. in the event of a late start. ' < ■ lit wais decided that a team leading by fifty or more runs, have the option of compelling the opposing team to follow on with the second innings. Mr J. Miller was appointed scle selector for the representative team.
