GAIETY THEATRE PICTURES. TO-NIGHT. THE LAST MOMENT. The man in “The Last Moment,” which is to be shown tetnight, thought himself a coward and knew fear unspeakable. But when the right incentive, his love for a clean sweet girl, came to him he faced dangers — unknown perils which are harder on the spirit than known dangers—with a courage he never dreamed he had. The theme of the story is the horror of fear. The brave man may know no fear. The coward knows fear and the horror of fear. Yet the coward may go into danger just as, readily as the brave man. Which, in such circumstances, is the more heroic ? The answer given by Mr Read’s photoplay is that the man who will go into danger knowing what the horror of fear iis, is more of a hero than the man who goes into the same danger without knowing fear. Also : The 7th series of "Fighting Blood.” TO-MORROW NIGHT. “FRIVOLOUS SAL.” The scenic grandeur of Rainier National Park in Washington is woven into the of J. K. McDonald’s First National picture, “Frivolous Sab” which is to be screened tomorrow night. McDonald chose for some of the exterior scenes one of the few spots in America where snow may be found the year round. His company left Hollywood in the middle of August, and just missed a heavy fall of snow on the summit when they arrived at Paradise Inn, the nearest habitation to the ntajesitic peak of Rainier. The mountain was blanketed with white far down its slopes and the motion picture company, o|nly three days from the semi-tropical summer of Southern California, fbund itself within easy walking distance of mid-winter. Wonderful shots were taken of the beautiful country surrounding Mt. Rainier, and the company, which included Eugene O’Brien, Mae Busch, and Ben Alexander, thoroughly enjoyed their sojourn in the land of perpetual snow.
