OHINEMURI SEAT.
CANDIDATES NOMINATED.
Nominations for candidates to contest the forthcoming Parliamentary elections closed with the registrars at noon yesterday. ' There are only two candidates nbminated for the Ohinemuri electorate, namely, Mr H. Poland, of Paeroa. (Independent Liberal), the sitting member, and Mr A. M. Samuel, of Piarere, Waikato (Reform). Mr H. Poland has been nominated by the following: W. Marshall, builder, Paeroa ; J. Herbert, miner, Waihi; A. R. Robinson, farmer, Komata North ; Ernest Sowman, farmer, Taupiri; W. M. Wallnutt, journalist, Waihi.
The {nominators of Mr A. M. Samuel are : W. F. Johnstone, farmer, Paeroa ; E. W. Porritt, barister and solicitor, Paeroa; W. J .Towers, decorator, Paeroa; H. M. Corbett, farmer, Waitekauri; E. Morgan, faile.r, Waihi.
