PERSONAL.
Mr W-. EL Ward; postmaster at Paeroa, who has been absent on annual leave, returned to Paeroa on Friday and resumed duty .this morning.
The friends of Mr J. H. Walmsley, Paeroa, will be isorry to hear that late, on Friday night he was taken ill, and was admitted to the Waihi Hospital during the early hours of Saturday morning. An operation for appendicitis was performed and he is now progressing favourably.
