CONCERT AND PRESENTATION. GAIETY THEATRE, THURSDAY. On Thursday evening next an opportunity will be offered to the residents) of Paeroa and district of being present at a concert and presentation function tendered to Mists Minnie Shaw in the Gaiety Theatre. When it was made known that Miss Shaw' had retired from the teaching profession after a splendid record of 33 years a number of parents, townspeople, and old pupils met and decided that such a record was worthy of acknowledgment. A committee was set up, and the response coming readily and liberally, suitable presents were procured and will, be presented at the concert given in her honour on Thursday evening. The programme contains items, by the leading talent in the district, and a pleasant night’s entertainment is assured.
