HAMILTON STOCK SALE. The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Co., Ltd.; reports: In the Frankton yards on Tuesday last we had a fair entry of both steer and cow beef. Fat steers .sold well up to the values of the previous week, but cow beef was easier. An average number of fat sheep were offered, and competition, if anything, was better .than reported at recent markets. Both fat and store pigs again came forward in the usual large numbers, baepners and fat porkers being firm at advanced rates, as also were slips- and store porkers. Weaneps lacked the usual competition. Beef. —Medium-weight fat steers £l4 70s to £l5 2s, well done small £l2 12s 6d to £l4 ss, light £lO 10s to £ll, small and unfinished £8 10s to £9 ss-; heavy fat cows to £ll i'ss ; medium cows and heifers £8 12s 6d to £9 2s fid, light £7 to £8 18s 6d, plain unfinished £5 12s 6(1 to £6 ss, stores £2 15s to £3 10s.

Sheet!. —Heavy wethers, shorn, £2 Is, light, shorn, 355, best shorn ewes 29s 6d to 34s 6d, fat 4 and 6-tooth maiden - ewes in wool £2 to £2 Is, forward ewes 32s to 335, 4' and 6-tooth wethers in store condition 355. Pigs.—Good quality heavy baconers £5 to £5 9s, heavy £4 10s to £4 15s, medium £3 17s to £4 6s; light baebners and good porkers £3 10s. to £3 16s ; medium porkers £3 to £3 ss, well done small £2 12s to £2 17s, store 37s to £2 5s ; slips 27s to 345; best weaners £1 to, £1 'ss, fair sorts 15s to 17s, small and young Ils to 13s.
