KEREPEEHI.

TENNIS CLUB. The Kerepeehi Tennis Club herdit'yannual, meeting on Wednesday evening last, Mr B. Frecklington. presiding over 18 members. Officers appointed for the ensuing; year were as follows: President, Mr W. Boothvice-presidents, Mr W. Herkt and and Mr J. Nicholson, junr.; delegate to the Hauraki Plains Tennis Association, Mr B. Frecklington; secretary, Mr G. Boswell; executive committee, Mrs O’Loughlin, Miss F. Clark, Messrs C. Hudson, C. N. O’Loughlin, R. Fawcett, and B. Frecklington ; selection committee, Messrs. C. Hudson, C. Boswell, and C. N.. O’Loughlin; social committee, Mrs; ©’Loughlin, Misses F. Clark, K. Caldwell, D. Smith, M. Fox, and I. Masters;. It was decided that the 'clay court; be concreted. The cost, was estimated to be about £7O, and this would lie obtained from the bank by way of overdraft guaranteed by certain of the members. The sum of £25-odd ; had been brought forward from the previous year, and though over. £B6 had been spent on the asphalt court there was about £23 to carry forward. It w;as also decided that no resident of Kerepeehi should be allowed to ■ play on the courts until becoming a ; financial member.
