HAMILTON STOCK SALE. The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Co., Ltd., reports: At our weekly stock sale in the Frankton yards on Tuesday we had a small yarding of beef and a fair entry of sheep, principally stores. Both fat and istore pigs again came forward in the usual large numbers. All classes of stock drew ready competition, and prices were firm. The following arer quoted :— Prime heavy fat cows £l3; fat cows £lO 4s to £lO 14s, light aud medium £8 to £9 7s ; fresh-cOnditioned cows £5 to £6, stores £2 to £3, culls £1 to 30s. Medium fat wethers 39s to £2 bs; empty cull ewes 5s to 15s 6d; medium woolly hoggets 325, small 27s to 28s 3d, culls 13s 6d to 15s. Pigs: Heavy baconers- £4' to £4 10s, medium £3 10s to £3 17s ; heavy porkers and light baconers £3 2s to £3 8s ; light and medium porkers £2 5s tp £2 17s ; stores 38s to £2 2s ; best slips 33s to 365, others. 25s to 30s ; good weaners £1 to 225, small 8s to 17p.
NGATEA STOCK SALE. At the N.Z. Loan and. Mercantie Agency’s monthly stock sale at Ngatea on Friday last there was a small yarding of cattle, but nothing of quality was yarded. Best dairy heifers brought from £7 10s. to £9, others £5 to £7 ss. Dairy cows realised from £8 to £lO tor beet quality, £6 10s to £7 10s for ethers, and £s> to £6 for backward calvers. The best of the beef cows offered brought from £7 10s to £9, others £6 to £7 s®; good freshconditioned store cows £4 5s to £5, inferior £2 10s to £3 15s; bulls from £4 10s to £6.
