PEDIGREE JERSEY SALE.
THAMES VALLEY BREEDERS’ CLUB TiO BE HELD AT HIKUTAIA. The Thames Valley Jersey Breeders’ Club Paeroa, announces by advertisement that the third annual sale of pedigree Jersey cattle will be held on Thursday, October 15, at the Hikutaia yards. To enable the catalogues to be printed and circulated it has been decided that entries will close definitely at noon on Tuesday, September 15, and vendors arc particularly requested to forward their entries to the secretary. P.O. Box 30, Paeroa, as early as possible before that date to ensure a good position in the catalogue. The popularity of the Jersey breed is incresaing, and those desiring to obtain a sire bred on the right lines, and with a long ancestry of butter-fat production qualities will be afforded an opportunity of securing such an animal almost at the door of their homesteads. It is also worthy .-cL note that any female sold as in calf is- guaranteed to be in that condition,; or to have calved within three months previous to sale. Should such not prove to- be the case the purchase money will be refunded in full by the vendor.
