Dr. Leo de Caiitro, M. 8., Ch.B. (N.Z.), F.R.CjS. (Edin.), arrived in Auckland from London on Friday. Dr. de Castro, who was met on arrival by his father, Mr G. P. de Castro, has returned to Paeroa, where he is spending a few days with his parents prior, to proceeding south. Mr W. W. T. Jones, who has been headmaster at the Karangahake school during the last two years, has received notification of his transfer to the headmastership of the Kopu school, which includes the side school at Matatoki. Mr Jones takes up his new duties about September 1.
