Public Notices. COUNTY OF HAURAKI PLAINS. NOTICE OF SPECIAL ORDERS. NOTICE is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Hauraki Plains County Council held on Wednesday, the 27th day of May, 1925, there were passed the following resolutions, which will be submitted for confirmation at the ordinary monthly meeting of the said Council to be held on Tuesday, the 14th day of July, 1925, at 11 a.m., at the County Chambers, Ngatea:— (A) In pursuance of the powers conferred on it by Section 6 of “The Water Supply Act, 1908,” the Hauraki Plains County Council hereby resolves and declares by way of Special OrdeFas follows : 1. That the limits of the Hauraki Plains .West Water Supply District are hereby curtailed by excluding from the said district all that area within the County of Hauraki Plains; Provincial District of Auckland, bounded towards the north-east by the mid line of the Waitakaruru-Maukoro Canal, commencing at the confluence of the canal aforesaid with the Waitakaruru Stream and proceeding hence to the intersection of the south-westerly boundary of Section 8, Block X., Wharekawa Survey District, produced to the mid line of the canal aforesaid; thence towards the north-west by the south-westerly boundary of Section 8, produced as aforesaid, and by the Road Reserve, being the. south-westerly boundary of Section 8 to 12, Block X., Wharekawa Survey District; thence again towards the north-east by the Pouarua Road to its, intersection with Rawe Rawe Road; thence towards the south-east by the Rawe Rawe Road aforesaid, being the southeast boundary of Sections 53 and 52, Block IV., Piako Survey District, and by the aforesaid boundary produced to the mid line of the Waitakaruru-Maukoro Canai; thence towards the south-west by the mid line of the canal aforesaid to its intersection with the south-east boundary of Section 30, Block IV., Piako Survey District produced ; thence again towards- the south-east by the south-east boundary of Section 30 produced as aforesaid, and by the south-east boundary of Section 30 aforesaid; thence again . towards the south-west by a right line, being the north-east boundary of Section 7, Block IV., .Piako Survey Disti’ict and of Waitakaruru No. 5C Block, and by the aforesaid right line produced to the Waitakaruru Stream; and thence towards the the north; west generally by the Waitakaruru Stream to the point of commencement.

2. That henceforth the limits of the Hauraki Plains West Water Supply District shall be as follows . All that area within the County of Hauraki Plains, Provincial District of Auckland, bounded towards the north and north-west by the Firth of Thames, commencing at the mouth of the Waitakaruru Stream and proceeding thence to the mouth of the Piako River; thence towards the east generally by the Piako River to the mouth of the Puhanga Canal, and by the middle line of the Puhanga Canal aforesaid to the point of its intersection with the south-east boundary of Section 3, Block V., Waihou Survey District produced; thence towards the south-east by the boundary line produced as aforesaid, and by Sections 5 and 4,'Block V., Waihou Survey District; thence towards the south-west by the Pouarua Road, being the southwest boundary of Sections 2 and 1, Block V., Waihou Survey District, Sections 18,13, 5,3, and la, Block 1., Waihou Survey District, and of Section 16, Block X., Wharekawa Survey District; thence again bounded on the south-east by a Road Reserve, being the south-east boundary of Sections 12, 11, 10, 9, and 8, Block X., Wharekawa Survey District and its production to the mid line of the WaitakaruruMaukoro Canal; thence again towards the south-west by the Wai-takaruru-Maukoro Canal aforesaid to the Waitakaruru Stream ; and thence towards the west and north-west generally by the Waitakaruru Stream to the point of commencement.

(B) That in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it under arid by virtue of a warrant under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General dated the 6th day of May, 1925, published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 31, page 1364, dated the 7th day of May, 1925, and under the authority and by virtue of the provisions of “The Public Works Act, 1908,” “The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1913,” and “The Counties Act, 1920,” and amendments thereof respectively, and of all other statutes, powers, and authorities it-thereunto enabling, the Hauraki Plains County Council hereby resolves by way of Special Order as follows : 1. For the purpose of providing the Hauraki Plains County Council’s share of the cost of the construction of a bridge, together with approaches thereto, over the Waihou River, which bridge is more particularly described in the said warrant under the hand of His Excellency the GovernorGeneral, the Hauraki Plains County Council hereby authorises the raising of a loan of £12.000. 2. That the loan be called “The Kopu (Kirikiri) Bridge Loan, 1925.”
