• HAMILTON STOCK SALE. I’he Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Co., Ltd., reports:— We held our usual weekly stock sale in the Frankton yards on Tuesday last, and had a fair entry of stock of all classes. Values realised were similar to those reported the previous week. The following are quoted :— Beef: Fat steers, medium weights and quality, £ll 5s to £ll 17s 6d, light £lO, small and unfinished £8 to £8 12s 6d ; heavy fat cows and heifers £7 10s to £8 ; fat cows £6 17s 6d to £7 7s 6d, medium to light, and heifers, £5 5s to £6 ss, unfinished £3 6s to £3 14s ; store cows £.l 12s to £2, freshconditioned £2 10s to £3 ; forward 4year steers £7 to £B.

Sheep: Fat lambs £1 12s 6d; medium ishorn fat lambs 27s 6d; small 2-tooth wethers 28s; medium woolly hoggets 23s 3d, culls 17s ; full to failing mouth ewes in lamb £l.

Pigs: Baconers £3 7s to £3 12s, light and medium £3 to £3 5s ; good porkers £2 15s to £3, medium £2 10s to £2 12s 6d, small and unfinished £2 to £2 55.; slips 23s to 6d; weaners 17s to 245, small 10s to 13s. Daily cows, spring calvers, £6 10s to £7. inferior and backward £3 10s to £4 15s; backward heifers, Shorthorn and Holstein cross 2-year-olds, £2 17s 6d to £5 ss.
