MOTOR CYCLE ACCIDENT
RIDER’S THIGH BROKEN, UNLIGHTED DRAY STRUCK. Through colliding with an unlighted dray on Orchard East Road, Ngatea, about 6 o’clock on Tuesday evening, a motor-cyclist, Mr “Dick” Williams, of Waitakaruru, fractured his thigh, and was admitted to the Thames Hospital.
Mr Williams, who in a son of Mr R. T. Williams, is employed by the Lands Drainage Department at Kerepeehi, and was proceeding home. It is is thought that his leg struck the hub of the dray wheel. He was quickly attended by Dr, J. J. Valentine, of Turua, and later removed to the hospital.
