PERSONAL.
The Rev. Father Dunphy left Pacroa for Auckland last night to attend the obsequies of the late Monsignor W. H. Mahoney, parish priest at Onehunga, and until recently vicar-gen-eral of the Catholic Diocese of Auckland.
Mr L. Dunsford, cadet at the Turua post office, is at prevent acting-post-master at Waitakaruru. Mrs Barlow, wire lias been in charge of the office for some time, is leaving the district shortly, and resigned from Friday last. A permnaent successor has not yet been appointed.
