GAIETY THEATRE PICTURES, TO-NIGHT “GLIMPSES OF THE MOON.” Allan Dwan’s production, “The Glimpjses of the Moon,” a Paramount picture of rare excellence, which is to be shown to-night, features Bebe Danielis and Nita Naldi in the leading roles, and deals with the social life of the idle rich—the side that is carefully concealed. The question arises from this production as to whether a wife, in order to repay an acquaintance for financial aid, is justified in keeping secret a certain damaging incident from her husband. Whether she is justified or not, Miss Daniels assists in a deception, and the Jesuit is the near destruction of her happy home.
WEDNESDAY NIGHT
" BROADWAY AFTER DARK.”
That seems to be the motto on Broadway, where pampered sons of wealth, actors and chorus girls—sensation seekers of all, descriptions— throw off all restraint and go in for the wild things that make Broadway notorious, a theme for fiction, a mccca tor all who wish to see life with a capital L. All the night life of the great light-flaming street lives in "Broadway After Dark,” the sensational Master picture which is to be shown on Wednesday night. Scenes that beggar description, episodes more bizarre than those found in the Arabian Thousand and One Nights, a veritable fairyland of midnight adventures are found in this romance of the Great White Way. Adolphe Menjbu, Norma Shearer, Anna Q. Nilsson, Carmel Myers, and Willard Louis head the cast. In the picture appear scenes from the famous Actors’ Equity Ball.
