LADIES' MATCHES. The qualifying round for the ladies’ chumptonsbip was played on the local links on Saturday afternoon in showery weather. The best cards returned were : Mrs O’Neill, 109—31--78 ; Miss F. Walmsley, 100—19— SI; Mrs Bray, 91 —6 —85 ; Mrs Miller 102 —17 —85 ; Mrs Andrews, 122— 36 —86 ; Miss Thorn, 111—24—87 ; Miss Tierney, 122—34—88
The draw for the next round of the club handicap can be sf-en at the club room.
On Wednesday next a medal round will be played, play to commence at 1.15 p.m.
Kept Saturday a bogey handicap match will be played for a trophy presented by Mrs Bray.
