HERD TESTING.
HAURAKI PLAINS GROUPS. RETURNS FOR APRIL. The following returns for the Hau raid plains groups for the month ot April have oeen supplied by the N.Z. Co-op. Herd-testing Association, Hamilton :—
Netherton Group.—The highest ,herd averaged 24.431 b of fat; the lowest herd averaged 12.11 lb. The highest cow in the group produced 46.801 b ard the lowest cow 5.401 b of fat.
Shelly Beach.—The highest herd averagejd ,28.801 b of fat and the lowest herd 14.541 b. The highest cow in the group produced 46.201 b and the lowest cow 4.501 b of fat.
Turua Group.—The highest hcrtl average was 28.331 b of fat and the lowest 15.211 b. The highest cow in the group produced 52.651 b and the lowest 5.04'1h of fat.
Waitakaruru Group.—The highest herd averaged 24.501 b, of mat and the lowest herd 10.741 b. Thq highest cow in the group produced 41.311 b and the lowest 5.161 b of fat.
Of the forty groups controlled by the association during April the best cow gave 11701 b of milk, 34.421 b fat. 7.2 test; the worst cow gave 1201.) milk, 2.881 b fat, and a 2.4 test.
