To realise the feelings of a white man .and a white woman harried and chased for one whole, day and night by hordes of raging Mohamedans intent on exterminating the "infidels,” see “Tire Man from Brodney’s,” to be shown to-night, and place yourselves in the positions of your old frienl Warren Kerrigan and tlie timid airl dainty Alice Calhoun. The events in the play take place on the little island of Japat, where a young lawyer is sent by his firm to safeguard the interests of the natives in some trouble arising from the will of on 3 of the owners of the island,- But there, he finds things complicated b-' the presence of a harmless young lady visitor who happens to be the princess of an obscure mid-European kingdom, and in two acts finds himself involved, through nb fault of his own, in a most strenuous and exciting campaign against the interests of his unfortunate client's.
