LONDON UEEK-END CABLE. PRICES ON HOMB MARKET. The latest London week-end cable received by the N.Z. Co-op. Dairy Co., Ltd... states that Anchor butter is selling at 1725, unealted 1745, and Danish 180 s, after considerable activity. The market is quiet. Advanced Anchors 1745, but partial release ef factory held stopped advance of quantics held. Prices are from 172 s to 185 s. The estimated total quantity of all butter in cold storage is 500,000 boxes The retail is unchanged. White and coloured cheese is bringing 98s. after being 965. Some outside agents sold down to 945. Canadian fodder is realising 86s to 88s c.if. Stocks in England on April 1 amounted to 62,000 crates, coinpared with 131,000 last year.
