GOLF.
The first competitions of the season on the local links are to be played tomorrow. The ladies’ club is playing the first monthly medal' round and an L.G.U. match, entrance fee 6d, players to arrange their own partners. The men’s club is playing the first monthly medal handicap, and players are asked to arrange their own partners. The recent. rain has improved the greens, and the course is in good order. A good muster of players is expected'.
