Mr H. S. Griffiths, building overseer, Public Works Department, has arrived in Paeroa, and will superintend the erection • of the new post, office,
Mr W. J. Watts has beep appointed relieving assistant at the Paeroa District High School as from April 1, vice Mr C. A. Watson, who is on leave.
The friends of Mrs F. S. Budd, who recently underwent a serious operation in the Napier Hospital, will be pleased to know that she is progressing favourably, and hopes to return to her home at Hastings in about three weeks’ time.
