The latest James Cruze picture, “Tiie Fighting Coward,” will be ; screened to-night. His father even thought him a coward, and turned him out, and then in a strange town he lost his temper and thrashed a man with the greatest name for being bad along the banks of the MissisHinpi. Then his name earned a reputation. One had only to mention that Colonel Blake was their friend and hospitality would be pronounced. Thus tiie mild-mannered man became a "killer.” In the cast are Cullen .. Landis. Mary Astor, Ernest Torrence, and Noah Beery.

The "Venus de Milo” .and the "Venus de Medici” have long held a place of international favour among 4 the art critics, but Thomas H. Ince has just put out a “Diving Venus” who promises to put the international beauties on a. back shelf. She appears in Ince’s latest comedy special, “Tne Galloping Fish,” which will be shown to-morrow night. . She does some remarkable diving stunts, and her name is Louise Fazenda. Screen audiences have laughed themselves into hysterics many times over the comedy stunts pulled by Miss Fazenda in Sennett comedies. In the Ince comedy for the first time .they are introduced to Louise, the water nymph. With a trained seal, which has tiie title role „ of the production, the “Diving Venus” disports herself in a glass tank act and an Annette- Kellerman bathing suit that is an optical delight. Syd., - Chaplin, Ford Sterling, and Chester Conkin are some of the the supporters in this, one of the cleverest’comedies , offered.
