NGATEA. TENNIS. The Ngatea Tenuis Club after struggling along for many years with inferior courts has decided to make a big effort to better its conditions, and to that end it fa proposed to hold a < bazaar in a few months’, time, and numerous social functions, during the winter. It is hoped co secure the co- ; ? operation of the people of the -district, for although Ngatea has been the most backward place on the Plains in regard to tennis, with sufficient good courts provided it would undoubtedly become the centre where y' most of the inter-club matches under the control of the Tennis Association • would be played. •
