Determined effort made this week to bear New Zealand market, one agent selling down to 1725, several others following to 1765. Despite Australian selling 178s-180s with spot stocks, have held firm. Anchor 184 s. Present indications are that attempt failed, although wide circulation reduced quotation, causing lack of confidence, buyers lowest price now being quoted 178 s. Continental demand good. Cheese.—White and coloured 104 s, quiet.
