HAMILTON STOCK SALE. The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Co., Ltd., reports:— Beef. —Prices are about the same as our last report for prime stQer and cow beef, good yardings coming forward ; prime eteer equal to 30s to 31s, with good cow 22s 6d to 245.

Fat Sheep.—There has been practically no rise for the last month, Export prices being equal to prices ruling at the markets.

Store Sheep.—There is still a good demand for all classes of stores, breeding ewes, wethers, and lambs being still sought after at prices equal to the early fairs.

Lamb. —Exporters are still operating at last month’s prices.

Store Cattle. —There is a good inquiry for all classes of male cattle, 18-months steers, 2%-year and grown cattle being in keen demand; but little inquiry exists for empty or in calf heifers. Calves also are dull of sale.

Pigs,—The yardings of both fats and stores have been big, with a. tendency for fats to harden, storey being somewhat easier.

Horses. —Heavy, medium, and light draughts are still in demand, light' horses not wanted.

We quote.—Bullocks, prime heavy £l2 10s to £l3 10s, medium £lO lbs to £11; cows, prime £6 15s to £7 10s, medium £5 5s to £5 10s, unfinished £3 15s to £4, stores £2 10s to £3 ; steers, forward 3%-year £6 10s to £7 15s, 3}j>-year stores £6 5s to £6 15s, good 2%-yoar £3 15s .to £4 10s, others £2 10s to £2 15s ; good 18-months steers £3 5s to £3 12s 6d, medium £1 15s to £2 ; good steens calves £3 2s 6d to £2 ; good heifer calves 15s to 255. Wethers prime, heavy shorn, 36s to 38s, medium 34s to 35s 6d; ewes, prime, heavy shorn, 28s 6d to 31s, light 26s to 27s ; store wethers, 4-tooth, shorn, 32s to 33s 6d, 2-tooth 30s to 31s ; shorn ewes, 5-yrs, 28s to 31s, sound mouth 25s to 26s ; fat lambs 27s to 30s, 2tooth ewes 32s to 345. Pigs : Baconers, prime £3 3s to £3 12s, medium £2 13s to £3 2s 6d; porkers £2 10s to £2 ISs ; slips 30s to £2 ; weaners 12s to 17s 6d. Horses : Heavy draughts £5O to £6O, medium £35 to £-38 ; spring cart sorts £22 to £3O; horness horses £8 to £lO ; hacks £8 to £ll.
