ADOPTION OF RULES.

EXECUTIVE APPOINTED.

The committee appointed by a meeting of flaxgrowers at Kaihere jcceiitly to draw up for the flaxgrowers’ Association in process of formation submitted rules to a meeting on Wednesday evening, Mr T. ' In addition to the machinery clauses there are rules concerning the terms under which flax is, to be sold to millers. Having a monopoly of the mill able flax in the area, the association is in a position to dictate terms if necessary. An executive committee of five is to be appointed by members annually to control all dealings with flax, members to have the right of appeal to the association from decisions of the executive. Ths executive appointed comprised : Messrs T. Lynch, A. J. McDonald, W. Suckling, G. Tizard, and T. McLoughlin. Mr G. Tizard was appointed secretary to the association. , ■ Membership fees Were fixed at -<s 6d per annum, and eighteen members were enrolled at the meeting.
