last SATURDAY’S PLAY.
PAEROA DEFEATS MORRINSVILLE;
On Saturday afternoon the Morrinsville, club sent eight rinks to Paeroa, and after an enjoyable game the visitors were defeated by a good margin. The weather was ideal for bowling, the air being dry and the sky overcast, obviating the glare which so often proves troublesome to bowlers. The greens were in tip-top playing condition, and were very fast considering the heavy rain that fell earlier in the week. Following are the results, Morrinsvilie players being mentioned first:—
