GAIETY THEATRE PICTURES.
TO-NIGHT “ WEST OF THE WATER TOWER.” Powerful and dramatic is the storytold in Paramount’s new picture, “West of the Water Tower,” to be shown to-night. It is a daring story of reckless love and the consequences. Guy Plummer, played by Glenn Hunter, is the smartest boy in town, and attracted to Bee Chew, daughter of a rfeh man. They have a secret marriage, but the papers are lost, and when Bee comes home from a holiday with a baby the town is scandalised. Then Guy’s father, a .minister, in his zeal only adds oil t° burning waters. Bee leaves town, and after some time Guy manages to live down the scandal. Thon it freshens with the return of Bee, but Guy is picked as a representative of the town at a conference. He is successful, and to add more laurels to him, the missing certificate is found. Bee and Guy are happy. Bee is played by May McAvoy, and in the cast are such well-known popular players as Ernest Torrence and George Fawcett.
