GAIETY THEATRE PICTURES. TO-NIGHT “GENTLE JULIA.” The motion picture of “Gentle Julia." Booth Tarkington’s popular novel, which is to be shown to-night, is as good as the book, if not better. Full of youthful humour, pathos, and Tarkington realism, the picture is a continuous spasm of laughs and tears from the first reel to the filial fadeout. Bessie Love as the loving and beloved Julia in typical of the character, and Harold Goodwin as the principal one of an ar,my of small town admirers furnishes some rare humour. Mary Arthur is a very clever little girl, and she plays the part of the busybody little thirteeh-year-old niece of Julia in a remarkable fashion Rowland V. Lee directed the picture, and did it exceedingly well.
