TURUA .STOCK SALE. There was a fairly full yarding of stock at Messrs A. Buckland and Son’s monthly sale at the Turua yards, and although the prices realised were not as good as obtained at the January sale values generally exceeded expectations. Heavy fat cows and heifers brought from £6 12s 6d to £7 7s. 6d, lighter sorts £4' 15s to £6, and rough and inferior qualities to £4. There was a big yarding of bulls, and keen competition prevailed. Best heavy animals made to £7 17s. 6d, lighter from £4 12s 6d to £6 ss, and small bulls from 30s upwards. Heifers were not in demand.
