HAMILTON STOCK SALE. The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Co., Ltd., reports : — We held our weekly stock isale in the Frankton yards on Tuesday, December 2, and had a fair yarding oi cow beef (no ox beef being penned) and a medium yarding of fat and store sheep ; fat pigs came forward in usual large numbers. Beef showed a considerable improvement on the previous week’s report, while fat and store sheep were firm, and fat pigs were slightly, easier. Prime heavy fat cows made from £8 12s to £9 Is, lighter prime £7 Is to £7 17s, medium £6 to £6 lOis, light £o to £5 15s, unfinished £4 to £4 15s ; good framed store cows £9 o £3 I® S > medium 2 to £2 10s ; 2-year steers £4 Ils : good conditioned well-grown 18months Jersey and Jersey-cross heifers £3 12s 6d to £4', smaller £2 to £2 10s. Prime fat ewes 34s 2d to 35s Bd, lighter 30s to 31s; prime 2-tooths (mixed) 35s 6d ; fat lambs 31s to 31s lOd ; forward ewes in wool 38s 9d ; forward 4-tooth wethers 33s 2d, smaller 29s 3d to 31s lid. Pigs: Heavy baconers £3 5s to £3 10s, lighter £3 to £3 3s ; good porkens to light baconers £2 15s to £3 ; medium porkers £2 10s to £2 12s 6d, light £2 2x to £2 8s ; slips 29s to 3(is ; best weaners £1 to 265, others 16‘s to 18s.
