GAIETY THEATRE PICTURES. ’ TO-NIGHT EYES OF THE FOREST. Tom Mix’s latest starring picture, “ Eyes of the Forest,” to be screened td-night, is a romantic story of that picturesque body of daring men, the Forest Air Patrol, of whom V ttle is ever heard. Outside of the fact that it shows Mix in an entirely new role —an army aviator —the picture has the significance of portraying in fiction the actual colpurful, thrilling lives of the rangers. Mix takes the part of Bruce Thornton, an army officei, is assigned to forest patrol service. On his first trip he spots an outlaw lumber plant. This is a big stride gracefully accomplished by Lois Wilson, featured player in the Paramount picture, “Ruggles of Red Gap,” to be shown at the Gaiety Theatre to-morrow (Show) night. Miss Wiljson has the role of Ka:e Kenner, daughter, of the proprietor of the Klondike Bar, one of the show places of the little town of Red Gap. An English earl, in Red Gap for the purpose of rescuing his kinsman, the Hon. George Bassingwell, from the clutches of a designing woman, himself fall victim to her charms. The situations leading up to their first meeting and the ensuing scenes are bits of the finest comedy ever screened. BAND CONCERT. TUESDAY. DECEMBER 9. The Te Aroha Municipal Band has engaged the Gaiety Theatre, Paeroa, for the evening of December 9, Svhen a band concert, assisted by some of the leading vocalists of the district will be presented.
