TURUA STOCK SALE. The>-e was a heavy yarding at Messrs A. Buckland and Son’s monthly sale at Turua on Friday, mostly fat and store cows, though there was a fair number of dairy cows. There was a large attendance of buyers, and a general clearance was effected at satisfactory prices. Dairy cows were not m keen demand, the highest price realised being £8 10s. Other cows brought from £3 upward. Heavy fat young cows brought up to £B, lighter fat cows £4 5s to £7 5s ; aged and inferior £2 to £3 15s ; good forward and store cows £2 5s to £3. H-iavy bulls brought up to 6 guineas, and young bulls 3% to 5% guineas. Empty heifert were not required and the bidding was very‘slack.
