GRUB AND BORER.

NEW SPECIMEN. FOUND BY POWER BOARD. At the meeting of the Thames Valley Electric Power Board at Te Aroha yesteiday a letter, was received from the biological laboratory, Department of Agriculture, Wellington, advising that the specimen of grub sent forward for identification was another species differing from previous specimens rent. It was known as Trogoflenron. which did not bore into the poles, but, rather, it attacked the borers, so it was beneficial in that reispect.
