PERSONAL.
Miss B. Adlum, of Paeroa, assistant at the Netherton school, is at present on sick leave. Mrs I. Bell, of Waikino, is at present acting as relieving assistant at the Hikutaia school. ’
Mr W. G. Hayward; of Ngatea, who recently underwent an * operation in an Auckland hospital, returned home on Friday last after an absence of nearly six wejeks.
Mr R. L. Miller, accountant at the local branch of the Bank of New Zealand, is at present on annual leave. Mr C. Marshall, of Auckland, is relieving Mr Miller.
Mr M. McLeod, who has been forced to abandon his farm near Pereniki’s Bend owing to it being constantly flooded, left Paeroa with his wife and family on Saturday for Devonport, where they will, reside in future.
